Avaya aiming for KSA market growth
Vendor wants channel partners to capitalise on increased government and private sector IT spending in the Kingdom
Avaya, a provider of solutions that enable customer and team engagement, has urged its channel partners in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to take advantage of government and public sector increased IT spending and grow their business to profitability.
According to the company, the government and public sector are a huge focus in KSA in terms of market growth especially in the education and healthcare sector.
Fadi Hani, managing director, Avaya KSA, said government spending in all ministries of government in Saudi Arabia have continued to grow and with this growth, the need to deliver end-to-end IT infrastructure has become far greater now. "We want out partners in KSA to be at the forefront of providing Avaya solutions in the government sector especially in healthcare and education segment," he said.
Hani added that part of the strategy to help partners grow their business has seen Avaya work with private sector firms with the aim of developing solutions that can also be deployed in the government sector where delivery of public services is crucial.
Hani added that to this end, Avaya is working with Habib Medical Group (HMG) in the healthcare sector to develop solutions that can also be deployed in public healthcare facilities across KSA. "We are doing the same in the education sector, where we are working with universities to develop solutions around Avaya offerings that can be used in both public and private higher learning institutions," he said.
Hani pointed out that the government, education and healthcare sectors are important for Avaya in Saudi Arabia. "We believe with the solutions we have in the unified communications, video, security, networking, contact centre and engagement services space, Avaya is poised to grow its business together partners in KSA," Hani added.
