Avaya to host Dubai-based forum on next-gen tech
More than 500 technology experts from around the globe expected to attend three-day event
Unified communications specialist Avaya is to host a three-day technology forum in Dubai to share its experience of emerging technologies.
More than 500 engineers from across Avaya's Global Growth Markets are expected to participate in the Avaya Technology Forum, to be held at Atlantis The Palm in Dubai from March 30 to April 1.
The event will mark the first time Avaya has held the forum in the region. Technology experts from Avaya's global R&D labs and solutions houses will focus on sharing their experience of next-generation communications and networking technologies with the region's tech leaders.
"Technology is developing at a faster pace than what we can keep up with," said Mohammed Areff, Avaya's managing director for the GCC, Levant and Pakistan. "The forum bridges the gap between the next-generation communication and networking technologies and trends, and the skill set of engineers and technical experts from our region. This forum is one of many ways that Avaya delivers value to the region's community of technology experts and part of Avaya's commitment to accelerate the effortless transformation of its customers and partners."
The Avaya Technology Forum will offer more than 70 sessions during the three-day event, covering customer and team engagement; software-defined networking; cloud-based services; virtualisation; security; and mobility. Avaya's experts in unified communications and contact centre operations will also discuss transformative technologies and trends, from BYOD and mobility to fabric networking and next-generation WLAN.
