Al Mansoori: UAEPedia represents a national platform for information concerning our homeland.

The UAE Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) today announced the launch of its UAEPedia website and smart device application, which took place during a workshop at its Dubai office.

The UAE's mGovernment team developed the UAEPedia website to "enable a greater degree of interaction with the public", the TRA said in a statement.

The UAEPedia app is available in the official UAE mGovernment app store.

"UAEPedia represents a national platform for information concerning our homeland, its history, heritage and cultural and political figures, while housing countless informational channels," said HE Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, director general, UAE mGovernment. "We have developed this encyclopaedia to promote patriotism towards our nation and its leadership."
