Giada upgrades config on gaming Mini PC
China-based vendor tweaks spec on lightweight desktop, including resolution, storage
China-based vendor Giada this week announced a configuration upgrade to its D2308U gaming Mini PC.
The mini PC is now powered by a fourth-generation Intel i7 processor and employs NVIDIA GeForce GTX750 graphics, in pursuit of a "smooth and high-resolution visual experience".
The D2308U also has increased video resolution of up to 2160p, up to 2x4GB memory and 1TB storage.
As a mini PC Giada is aiming for a portable and lightweight offering, and claims the unit weighs "as little as a dictionary".
"Backed up with ultra HD display and Microsoft Direct X 11. 2 support, D2308U offers stunning performance of hyper-realistic and smooth three-dimensional graphics with high-definition video resolution up to 2160p," the company said in a statement.
"Gaming experience is improved with Realtek high definition audio, which supports the latest 4K outputs with 5.1 digital audio via HDMI for dynamic and immerse game play."
Giada told ITP.net that the Gaming Mini PC D2308U is available in UAE for "around $1,000 US".
