Synechron gets new MD for Middle East
Vimal Sethi named managing director for regional operations
Synechron, a global IT consulting and outsourcing firm, has announced a new appointment, which it said is aimed at strengthening its strategy and operations in the MENA region. Vimal Sethi has been named the new managing director at Synechron Middle East and he will be based at the company's regional headquarters in Dubai.
As the managing director for the Middle East, Sethi will be responsible for driving expansion plans across the MENA region. He will also be focusing on building relations with key enterprise businesses from the private and public sectors, existing customers and partners in the region.
According the vendor, the new appointment highlights the company's strategic ambition to solve the toughest technological challenges for clients, to offer high-end, skilled resources and 24x7 global delivery capabilities.

Having previously worked as the vice president and general manager at Infusion Development Middle East, Sethi brings over 20 years of experience in technology, IT, software and consulting across the Middle East, US and Europe. Prior to joining Synechron, he served nine years with Microsoft in a number of key roles at the company's corporate headquarters in Seattle, EMEA and most recently with Microsoft Gulf as developer and platform group lead.
