CommScope showcases portfolio at GITEX

CommScope is looking to use GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK to rebrand and educate its customers on the full range of solutions that the firm provides, according to a senior executive from the firm.

Ernie Pickens, Senior Vice President, New Market Development, CommScope, says that the company wants to represent itself as more than just an enterprise firm.

“GITEX for us this year is a pretty big event, a pretty big investment for us. And this is for a couple of reasons. The market is changing, and for us as a company it has changed a lot. There are a lot of recent acquisitions. We are looking at this as an opportunity to rebrand, and to educate the market on all the solutions that we have,” says Pickens.

“The customers have been fragmented around our individual parts of the company. Because of more and more changes in the market, people are seeing more value for all the things that CommScope does. So we wanted to make sure that we had a strong presence here for the different solutions that CommScope provides.”
