The Sharjah Government stand is hosting 28 government entities.

The government of Sharjah will simplify paperwork for residents and nationals through providing 24/7 services, Sheikh Khalid Bin Ahmed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director General of E-Government Department said on Sunday.

Sheikh Khalid made the announcement during the inauguration of the stand hosting Sharjah Government Departments at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK 2014.

The stand is home to 28 government departments set on leveraging state-of-the-art technological tools and standards to position the emirate of Sharjah as a leader in ICT innovation.

During the inauguration, which was attended by scores of high-ranking officials, Sheikh Khalid Bin Ahmed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi declared: “The Government of Sharjah is keen on providing 24/7 services and simplifying paperwork for the sake of comfort and satisfaction of nationals and residents in the Emirate, under the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.”

“Sharjah Government’s participation this year is exceptional and creative. It shows the efforts that were put into incrementally improving the way we provide governmental services through modern digital channels, and how we are up to date with the latest developments and innovations in global ICT, especially when it comes to mobility.”
