Veeam Software together with distribution partner Ingram Micro’s Aptec is promoting Veeam Availability Suite v8 on the distributor’s stand at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK 2014.

The vendor says the software is designed to ensure that Middle Eastern organisations achieve non-stop availability of applications and data recovery within seconds.

“GITEX is the largest IT expo in the Middle East, and we are using it as a platform to showcase Veeam Availability Suite v8 and its ability to empower Middle Eastern organisations,” says Gregg Petersen, regional director Middle East and SAARC at Veeam Software.

“Being at this year’s expo is the perfect avenue for us to meet new customers, network and touch base with our current partners.”

Petersen says GITEX this year is the biggest one for the company as it’s present on four partner stands.

“We are aiming to increase our brand awareness, generate key interaction with consumers and partners, and continue to educate the market about the ‘always on data centre.’ We are also sharing with visitors to the stand throughout this week some key regional case studies to further emphasise how our technology is helping enterprises in Middle East reach their business objectives,” he says.

Petersen adds that Veeam is looking to achieve continuous growth in the UAE and Middle East by consistent education and outreach to the market.

“Post GITEX, we will be investing in our channel programmes, extending our channel outreach and bringing value to both our partners and customers,” he says.
