His Highness Sheikh Hamdan pays visit to Abu Dhabi e-Government pavilion
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, visited the Abu Dhabi e-Government pavilion at GITEX 2014 yesterday. Alongside H.E. Rashed Lahej Al Mansoori, Director General, ADSIC, His Highness toured the 1591 square metres space and had the opportunity to see up close the latest apps and software offerings of 22 different government entities.
During the visit, which lasted approximately 20 minutes, the Crown Prince praised the entities’ efforts in implementing innovative e-solutions that support the UAE’s goal of becoming a knowledge-based economy and society. “We are honoured by the visit of the Crown Prince to the Abu Dhabi e-Government stand and the opportunity to shed some light on so many great initiatives, such as the Abu Dhabi Mobile Court, which will help raise awareness on key legal matters, and TARESH, a system which will help integrate communication between Abu Dhabi government agencies,” said H.E. Al Mansoori.
