Spectrami looks to gain increased GITEX visibility
Choudha: The outlook for the final quarter of 2014 looks very positive.

SPECTRAMI is hoping to create an increased visibility for itself and its vendor-partners at this year’s GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK. The relatively young value-added distributor is aiming to use the trade show to build on growth and get its messaging out to a broader set of people.

“We want to create visibility for ourselves and the vendors and get the messaging out to a broader set of audience. Also we want our messaging to go to a larger audience, which would include our partner and customer ecosystems,” says Anand Choudha, Managing Director at Spectrami.

This week, Spectrami is exhibiting with a number of vendors, including Actifio, Fidelis, Logrhythm, Tenable, Violin Memory, Good Technology, Xceedium and Packet Ninjas. The company is aiming to increase awareness for these vendor-partners, with the hope of meeting new partners and customers, and helping to grow business.

The company is also using GITEX to tease a number of channel partner incentive programmes. According to Choudha, Spectrami will be announcing bonus plans for the year end and early 2015.

“We have exciting channel incentive bonus plan for the year end, which will reward our partners for closing business on a positive note. For our existing partners we intend to announce some exciting incentive plans for promoting our products in the year 2015,” he says.

Spectrami is confident about achieving its goals at GITEX, particularly as the company trades in security products and security awareness is on the up. According to Choudha, GITEX should provide strong fourth-quarter growth.

“The outlook appears positive, especially as the awareness of new security initiatives is on the increase,” he says.
