Prestigio has unveiled what is claims is the 'world's slimmest' smartphone.

Prestigio, a manufacturer of mobile devices, consumer electronics and accessories has unveiled the Prestigio Grace, in its corporate line of handsets.

Prestigio claims Grace is the "slimmest" smartphone in its history and probably one of the slimmest in the world as it is only 5.5 mm thick.

The handset was developed by Gionee and Prestigio with and comes with a remarkable design and outstanding features. The smartphone has a brilliant 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display with all-round Gorilla glass generation three protection. In addition, the company said the phone's display can be operated with gloves and wet hands thanks to the supersensitive Atmel sensor.

The combination of metal and glass gives a reliable body for a powerful and smooth operating Octa Core Cortex A7 1.7GHz with 2 GB RAM. Powered with the latest Android 4.4 KitKat, the smartphone delivers high performance and is equipped with two cameras 5MP front and 13MP rear.

The rear camera features best-in-class Sony Exmor RS for mobile image sensor, autofocus, LED flash and ensures exceptionally high-quality photo and video resolution, while a 5.0MP wide angle front camera allow users to enjoy high quality full body selfies and video calls.

Grace has a Prestigio Lock Screen MultiStart feature and a user can easily customize quick and simple access to all the important functions of the phone, saving lots of time. The new screen lock keeps news feeds and social networks always updated and provides instant access to media, music and social applications without unlocking the device.
