Citrix to unveil new technologies at GITEX
Mobile workspace solutions to be placed under spotlight
Citrix will unveil advancements to its mobile workspace solutions at this year's GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK. The company will use GITEX to explain how its new offerings can further enable the secure delivery of apps, desktops, data and services to any user, on any device, over any network or cloud.
At the core of this product mix will be the Citrix Workspace Suite, a single solution that will support multiple corporate or personal devices per user, providing instant access to apps, data and services. Citrix said that the solution simplifies how organisations manage and secure their end-user computing environment.
The suite is made up of technologies such as, among others, XenApp, which mobilises and secures Windows apps on any device; XenDesktop, which securely delivers virtual Windows desktops and apps on any device; and XenMobile, which manages and secures mobile, web and SaaS apps on mobile devices.
"More Middle Eastern companies are now introducing flexible working options to retain employees and to attract top talent. As technology has become a seamless part of both work and personal life, Citrix has removed the barriers for business mobility to empower their customers to choose when, where and how work gets done," said Johnny Karam, Regional Vice President, Middle East and Africa, Citrix.
"At the GITEX Technology Week, Citrix will be demonstrating its enhanced mobile workspace solutions and highlight how it provides ways for customers to securely manage a diverse and mobile workforce while optimizing user experience.
Karam added that GITEX will provide Citrix with a "great platform" to not only gain visibility and brand awareness, but also to help it gain business traction with local and regional customers and partners.
