CommVault to demo power of data for Mid-East businesses at GITEX
Enterprise data-management platform Simpana 10 to take centre stage
CommVault today announced its participation at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK, where it will showcase its enterprise data-management platform Simpana 10.
CommVault executives will concentrate on convincing delegates that Simpana can "reduce costs by as much as half, reduce administrative overhead by up to 80% and lower aggregate support costs by up to 35%".
"As many companies in the Middle East are building businesses that target not just regional but global growth, technology is playing a larger role than ever in advancing these organisational aspirations," said Bassam Hemdan, AVP at CommVault.
"According to Gartner, the last ten years has seen IT change from the department that takes care of technology to support the business, to an era where CIOs and IT managers are increasingly expected to play a key role in achieving competitive advantage. With Simpana software featuring unified archiving, backup, reporting, snapshot management, eDiscovery and secure data access within a single software platform, it provides regional enterprises with unparalleled data management capabilities besides the unique ability to unlock business value from data. We hope to meet a large number of potential customers at GITEX and convey these powerful value propositions."
CommVault will also use GITEX as an engagement platform to form alliances and strengthen ties with channel partners. The company will use the opportunity to spread awareness of recently announced enhancements to its PartnerAdvantage programme.
CommVault will also target cloud service providers at the exhibition.
"Simpana 10 software platform is the only singular data and information management solution for cloud data protection," CommVault claimed in a statement.
CommVault will exhibit at Hall 6, Stand CLD 14.
