A new jobs website dedicated to start-ups has launched in the UAE.

Jobooh is a job platform where start-ups can post jobs for free and job seekers can browse and send their applications directly to the employers.

Alex Weber, MD at Jobooh told ITP.net: "Tech and Non-tech people can find jobs in great start-ups and start-ups can look for freelancers, interns and full time or part time employees.

"We believe that people will soon realise that working in big companies is not the only solution. Start-ups are the future."

Headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, Jobooh's user base is currently in 50 countries; UAE joins the list with ae.jobooh.com specifically catered to Arab start-ups, and is currently seeking out up and coming entrepreneurs to raise awareness about Jobooh in the GCC.

"We are now focusing on expanding Jobooh in emerging markets (Africa, South America and South East Asia). The next step will be to start new verticals/niche such as financial jobs and medical jobs" added Weber.

Jobs currently advertised on the website include WEB Designer, Game developer, and Java developer.
