The Desire 816 boasts a 5.5 inch screen, is powered by a quad-core, 1.6 GHz processor and offers 4G LTE connectivity.

HTC has unveiled its new HTC Desire 816 as part of its 2014 mid-range portfolio.

The first edition of the HTC Desire family is available in the UAE for 1499 AED and 1349 AED for the dual SIM version.

The Desire 816 boasts a 5.5 inch screen, is powered by a quad-core, 1.6 GHz processor and offers 4G LTE connectivity.

Featuring HTC's dual-frontal stereo speakers with built-in amplifiers and HTC BoomSound as well as HTC BlinkFeed for news and social updates, the Desire includes a 13MP rear-facing camera complete with HTC Zoe and automatic highlight videos, as well as a 5MP front-facing camera.

The new smartphone, which runs HTC's Sense 6 interface, is available in various colours including navy blue, grey and white for the single SIM. The dual SIM is available in white and grey.
