Apple to cut 200 jobs at Beats
The news follows Apple's acquisition of Beats in May
Apple are said to be laying off around 200 workers at Beats Electronics LLC according to Bloomberg citing a person with knowledge of the restructuring.
The job cuts follow Apple's $3 billion acquisition of the headphone and music company and are reported to be in human resources, finance and other roles where there is overlap between the two companies.
The purchase of Beats was the biggest in Apple's history, giving the iPhone maker a music streaming service as well as the Beats headphones line.
