UAE Xbox One pre-orders to get five-game bundles
Microsoft tempts region’s gamers with titles such as EA Sports FIFA 15, Halo Spartan Assault
Microsoft’s UAE Xbox team has announced two five-game bundle deals ahead of the Xbox One console’s 5 September launch in the Gulf market.
In a bid to entice Middle East gamers to its next-generation entertainment platform, Microsoft is running the “while stocks last” offers from July 16 to August 28.
Customers who pre-order the Xbox One can opt for one of two bundles. The first, priced at AED1,749, includes the console plus Forza Motorsport 5, EA Sports FIFA 15, Halo Spartan Assault, Max ‘Curse of the Brotherhood’ and Lococyle. The other bundle is AED2,199 and consists of the console plus a Kinect system and EA Sports FIFA 15, Kinect Sport Rivals, Halo Spartan Assault, Max ‘Curse of the Brotherhood’ and Lococyle.
Xbox’s rival console, the Sony PlayStation 4, launched in the UAE in December to sell-out demand. Sony had previously claimed to have sold 1m PS4 units in the 24 hours after its global launch a month earlier. Sony targeted sales of 5m before March 2014, but reached that figure in mid-February.
