Toshiba introduces 4K-display laptop in Middle East
Satellite P50t packs 3840 x 2160 resolution in UHD screen
Toshiba Gulf FZE today launched the Satellite P50t, its first laptop model that features an Ultra HD 4K display with 3840 x 2160 resolution.
The Satellite P50t is powered by an Intel H Series processor, runs on Windows 8.1 and comes with 16GB of RAM.
"This new model caters to style-conscious professionals who enjoy multimedia creation and consumption," said Santosh Varghese, general manager, Digital Products and Services, Toshiba Gulf FZE.
"The Satellite P50t is designed for both premium entertainment and seamless performance. With its Ultra HD 4K display, the Satellite P50t offers users an unparalleled viewing experience."
The laptop carries up to 1TB of storage and a built-in Blu-ray player, along with dedicated graphics of up to 2GB to support the Ultra HD 4K display. The screen is a 15.6-inch touch display featuring edge-to-edge glass. The keyboard is focused on "accuracy and comfort" and includes widely spaced keys and backlighting. The unit has a full metal body aimed at optimising durability.
The device is also equipped with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, four USB 3.0 ports, a media bridge card slot, an Ethernet port and an HDMI port.
A USB Sleep and Music function allows users to plug in smartphones and MP3 players and use the laptop's Harman Kardon speakers or charge the peripheral device, even if the main unit is powered down.
