Stage 2 Learning Solutions will develop Huawei training into seven main areas of study.

Huawei, a provider of ICT solutions has partnered with Stage 2 Learning Solutions, a move the company says will broaden its Authorised Learning Partner (HALP) programme, which offers in-depth training on the company’s entire range of products and solutions for channel partners and students.

The vendor’s decision to offer an extended education programme follows many years of success from its initial training for students that wanted to develop their knowledge and understanding of Huawei’s ICT networking technology.

Under the new alliance, Huawei’s HALP programme has been extended to certifying partners across a breadth of its technologies including unified communications (UC) and video, cloud, data centre, virtualised storage and networking technology.

Eric Dai, training and services director, Huawei Enterprise Business, Middle East said: “The extension of our training programme gives our partners and students a solid understanding of our full range of solutions and also help them to understand how the technology can help deliver business results to organisations.

“Getting certified will allow students to be formerly recognised in proficiency and understanding of our full technology portfolio, giving them professional qualifications that can help to support their career. We have developed an e-training program so that students can learn via an extensive variety of e-books, research reports and papers so that students can freely access and learn outside of the classroom.”

This education initiative is part of Huawei’s commitment to enable partners to provide greater levels of consultancy to end-users when deploying technology implementations.

“It is encouraging that a large organisation like Huawei is extending its training programmes in the Middle East, offering more ICT professionals the opportunity to improve their  skills,” said Alwaleed Aldryaan, Al Khaleej Group and Stage 2 Learning Solutions.

Stage 2 Learning Solutions will develop training into seven main areas of study, ranging from product knowledge to network design and how to oversee ICT project implementations. There are three levels of certification, depending on partner and student’s levels and these include: Huawei Certified Network Associate (HCNA), Huawei Certified Network Profession (HCNP) and Huawei Certified Internet Expert (HCIE).
