Ooredoo connects residential towers at The Pearl
Ooredoo is investing in ultrafast broadband for Doha.

Ooredoo has extended its agreement to provide fast broadband services to residential towers at The Pearl development in Doha.

The telecoms operator has already connected the Porto Arabia precinct, and other towers in the development are set to follow.

Ooredoo is providing superfast broadband and Mozaic television services to residents. The high end 100Mbps plan is available for QR650 per month, with basic packages starting at QR350 for home broadband, HD Mozaic TV and landline voice services.

Fatima Sultan al-Kuwari, director, community and public relations, Ooredoo, said: "We're thrilled to be able to connect residents of The Pearl to our state-of-the-art broadband and Mozaic TV services. With the help of property managers and owners, we aim to provide all residents access to our life enriching entertainment services by the end of the year."

The telecoms operator says it plans to continuing investing in delivering ultrafast broadband in Qatar throughout 2014.
