Logicom expands its operations in Kuwait, Qatar
Move to facilitate quicker and more efficient deliveries to the local channel base
Logicom, a regional distributor of technology solutions and services, has announced it is expanding its local operations in Kuwait and Qatar, a move the company says will accommodate the growing demand in the region.
The operations in Kuwait and Qatar will each have an office and warehouse facility. The company said the strategic expansion for Logicom, will enable the company to facilitate quicker and more efficient deliveries to the local market, thus boosting its business and customer breadth in the two countries.
Sajith Raj, general manager, Logicom Dubai, said: "Logicom is taking its next strategic steps in Kuwait and Qatar in order to expand the company's multinational presence in the Gulf region. This is part of our continuous efforts to better serve our partners, and meet all our stakeholders' expectations, in any way and from any location we can."
Raj added: "Leveraging on our international expertise and an expanded local presence in these countries, we look forward to providing even more opportunities for prospective vendors and partners in the region."
With the establishment of local in-country operations, Logicom said it is set to become more competitive in its offerings, and will better serve its local customer base with run rate stock and in country operations. This will allow Logicom to consolidate much of its current Middle East operations, and create additional regional hubs from which it will service its partners and customers.
Logicom said its investment in new facilities in Kuwait and Qatar is a direct response to its partners' needs in the region, and commitment to growing its business in in the two Gulf states.
