Sony Middle East and Africa FZE today announced the launch of the Alpha A3500, a 20.1-megapixel interchangeable lens digital camera.
Aimed at photography novices, the A3500 is said to help photographers "shoot DSLR-quality pictures with ease".

Featuring a choice of E-mount interchangeable lenses by Sony and Carl Zeiss and an E 18-50mm F4-5.6 standard zoom kit lens designed specifically for the Alpha A3500, the camera is fitted with a large 20.1-megapixel Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor designed to boost sensitivity, grab more light and cut image noise.
Available now in the UAE, the A3500 also features Tru-Finder, an electronic viewfinder that displays grid lines. It also includes the ability to shoot full HD videos with a choice of 50i or 25p shooting modes; instant preview of tweaks to exposure and white balance settings; Multi Interface Shoe for adding accessories; ECM-XYST1M Stereo Microphone for soundtrack and dialogue; battery-powered HVL-LEIR1 Video IR light for indoor scenes; Picture Effect, which is a palette of 15 artistic treatments, such as Retro Photo, Miniature and Partial Colour; and Auto Object Framing for trimming portraits, close-ups and moving subjects.
