Sennheiser releases speakerphone series
SP 10 and SP 20 are portable speakerphones aimed at business professionals
Provider of headset and speakerphone solutions, Sennheiser, has released its new range of portable speakerphones, the SP 10 and SP 20.
The Sennheiser Speakerphone series, which is aimed at business professionals and "prosumers", enables users to make personal and small group conference calls on a PC or softphone in offices and campuses or when travelling. It also doubles up as a portable speaker for listening to music on the move.
Andreas Bach, president at Sennheiser Communications, said: "There is a growing trend towards professionals working more flexibly through group collaborations and small group conferences, when moving around office complexes, holding ad hoc calls throughout their working day and when travelling. Through the Speakerphone Series, Sennheiser is adding a new category of portable conferencing solutions to its comprehensive product portfolio designed to enhance both productivity and performance of office and field workers, through its superior voice clarity and quality design. In combination with our existing portfolio of wired and wireless headsets for the office, contact centre and unified communications, we now provide a comprehensive toolkit for business professionals - whatever their needs."
The SP 10 and the SP 20 speakerphones are optimised for use with Microsoft Lync. The SP 10 connects to Microsoft Lync via USB cable and the SP 20 hooks up to Microsoft Lync via USB cable to PC and to mobile phone or tablet via 3.5mm jack plug. All the models provide users with ‘plug in and talk' simplicity, regardless of their location.
Speakerphone SP 10 and SP 20 variants use Sennheiser's high definition sound quality, voice clarity and echo cancellation as well as a dual-talk function, which enables users to interrupt a conversation naturally.
Speakerphone features clear call, volume control, mic mute buttons and hands-free use. The range also allows users to play music when not making calls.
