Toshiba Gulf has launched the Portégé R30, an "ultra-portable" said to be perfect for professionals on the move.Available now, the 13.3-inch laptop weighs 1.5kg and is powered by the latest Intel Core Quad Core processors. It features a non-reflective, LED-backlit display, anti-glare coating and HD display with a 1366 x 768 resolution.Santosh Varghese, general manager of Digital Products and Services, Toshiba Gulf FZE said: "Business users are now looking for the ultimate in portability while also expecting first-rate performance and complete functionality. The Portégé R30 has been designed to answer that demand. It delivers both power and mobility with its high performance processor, complete set of full-size ports, and wide range of business features with a thin and light design."The Portégé R30 also has a security system that includes both software and hardware solutions; a fingerprint reader and a Trusted Platform Module to prevent unauthorised access to documents and personal data. Toshiba EasyGuard supports hardware components against the stress and hazards of continuous mobile usage as well as a magnesium chassis for reinforced durability.Equipped with high-quality stereo speakers enhanced by DTS Studio Sound, the laptop also features RGB, HDMI and LAN ports; SD connections; three USB 3.0 ports; a built-in optical drive; Accupoint; a backlit keyboard and the latest versions of WiFi and Bluetooth.
