Fluke, R&M announce new partnership
Collaboration to make project planning, rollouts faster
Swiss structured-cabling specialist R&M has today announced a new partnership with Fluke Networks, provider of network test and monitoring solutions
According to R&M, the collaboration between the two companies will help the organisations combine their technologies to speed up the deployment of high-performance network infrastructures that support the growing IT demands of the region's booming enterprise and public sectors.
Jean-Pierre Labry, executive vice-president of R&M Middle East, Turkey and Africa said: "Both R&M and Fluke Networks are extremely well-established players in the Middle East, Turkey and Africa with scores of high-profile customer references to our credit. Our leadership in the cabling and passive-infrastructure arena is perfectly complimented by Fluke's expertise in network testing. Both our organisations enjoy a very strong foothold in the telecommunications, utilities, transportation, healthcare, city development and hospitality sectors and this new synergy between our brands will only deepen this market penetration."
The combination of Fluke Networks testing for end-to-end systems, and R&M's fibre and copper solutions is said to make project planning and rollouts easier, faster, more reliable and more cost-effective.
"As a global developer of connectivity systems and trusted adviser for high-quality, high-performance networks, R&M recognises the benefits a joint technology alliance can bring to our customers," said Labry.
"The R&M Technology Alliance Program is a framework to support our Convincing Cabling Solution promise."
