Synoptic wins ‘Huawei Partner of the Year’ award
SI also selected to implement vendor’s VDI solutions at TVTC in KSA
Saudi-based systems integrator Synoptic recently won the ‘Huawei Partner of Year' award for 2013.
The SI was recognised for its dedication to growing Huawei's Enterprise business across all four business lines namely DataCom, IT Products, Unified Communication and Collaboration (UC&C) and Security.
According to Huawei Enterprise, Synoptic has also been selected as the implementation partner after the company signed a deal with the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) for the virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) project across Saudi Arabia.
Mohammed Al Mandil, founder and CEO of Synoptic said, having been a Huawei partner for four years, the company is delighted to have been recognised for contributing to the growth of business in the Saudi market.
Al Mandil said the TVTC implementation involves 14,000 VDI users and is one of the biggest VDI implementation in the Middle East and the second to the implementation which Huawei Co itself has rolled out.
Al Mandil added that as a Huawei Enterprise SI partner, the company has expertise in all the vendor's four business lines that include: DataCom, IT Products, UC&C and Security. "We are the only Huawei value added partner (VAP) and Enterprise Services Partner (ESP) in Saudi Arabia," he said.
The TVTC, formerly known as General Organisation for Technical Education and Vocational Training (GOTEVOT) is the Saudi government's leading provider of training, with institutions across the Kingdom and caters for more than 120 000 trainees in over 100 locations.
