Channel Middle East Awards 2014 on tonight
The winners of the seventh Channel Middle East awards will be revealed tonight
The achievements of the region's IT channel industry will be celebrated tonight at the Sofitel Dubai The Palm Resort and Spa when Channel magazine reveals the winners of the Channel Middle East Awards 2014.
The event, which will be held alongside a gala dinner, is expected to attract over 350 IT leaders from the vendor, distributor, reseller, systems integrator and retailer community across the Middle East region, where they will be honoured for their accomplishments and dedication to the development of the regional IT sector over the last 12 months.
Twenty awards will be presented and they recognise the companies, partner programmes and individuals that have done the most to build and improve the welfare of the Middle East IT channel sector.
Ramzi Kuhail, director, Enterprise Sales at telco du will deliver the first keynote address while Basil Ayass, marketing director at Dell Middle East will also address the delegates.
Michelle Meyrick, events manager at ITP Publishing Group, said this year's awards received an over whelming number of nominations. "We received over 150 nominations and were impressed with the quality of entries. We are expecting more attendees at this year's ceremony than in 2013," she said.
Meyrick added that this year the nomination process was simplified with all entries submitted electronically.
