Comguard readies Quality Assurance Programme
Regional VAD moves to improve service excellence to vendors and reseller partners in the region
Plans by regional VAD Comguard to launch a new Quality Assurance Programme have reached advanced stages, with the company revealing that it will unveil the initiative to channel partners at the annual Channel Partner Conference to be held in Dubai in mid April.
Although details on how the programme works will be revealed to partners at the conference, the company said it has embarked on this initiative to improve its overall service excellence to both reseller and vendor partners.
Ajay Singh Chauhan, CEO, Spectrum Group, said the Quality Assurance Programme has been designed to help Comguard establish and understand the demands coming from the vendors and channel partners.
Chauhan explained that the programme is based on selectively implementing strategies and initiatives that help partners to focus on certain product lines that are high revenue earners and mirroring the product portfolios with the vendor channel supporting schemes. "We developed this programme to establish why certain resellers that did business with us a few years ago had suddenly stopped. We want to improve the overal service we render to resellers and vendors. We also wanted to understand the demands of all our vendors in terms of developing a steady business pipeline which reflected the plans that channel partners had shared with Comguard," he said.
He said the company has through a comprehensive channel survey established a framework on how the Quality Assurance Programme will be implemented to partners across the Middle East. He added that the programme will be opened to all Comguard's channel partners once launched and there is a dedicated team that will oversee and implement this scheme.
"We want to help our partners and vendors to improve their overall operations and efficiencies in the market," he said. "By rolling out this programme, we will be able to share with vendors initiatives that help partners to earn high revenue and aid them to allocate the appropriate resources to support the channel."
