Parag says the company is delighted to have won the excellence in integration award.

Dubai-based FVC, a VAD in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, recently won the EMEA Excellence in Integration Partner of the Year from Polycom.

The award recognised FVC for successfully integrating Polycom solutions with a unified communications and communications (UC&C) platform at Ankabut, the UAE's National Research and Education Network (NREN).

Polycom honoured partners during TEAM Polycom 2014, the company's annual partner conference held last month in Canada.

"We are pleased to receive this recognition from Polycom," said K.S. Parag, managing director at FVC. "We worked quite closely with our partners and the team at Ankabut, under a special memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed in November 2013, to architect and demonstrate the right solution that fitted their needs and those of their partner universities across the country."

"In an ever-changing and rapidly evolving market place, it's critical to have partners like FVC who can help us meet our customers complete business needs with transformative solutions," said Mike Conlon, vice president, Worldwide Channels, Polycom. "We congratulate FVC and look forward to supporting their continued success."

FVC is part of the Polycom Partner Network. The company said as part of the Polycom Partner Network, technology providers, ISVs, solution advisors, integrators, service providers, and other companies can work with Polycom and each other to deliver tailored solutions for the multi-faceted needs of today's organisations.
