Dubai-based IT distributor Areej Group has announced the opening of a new showroom in Abu Dhabi, a move the company says will allow it to demonstrate the latest in CCTV, IP video and biometrics technology.

The company said it will also utilise the showroom as the hub for the distribution channel in Abu Dhabi.

In addition, the distributor said the opening of a showroom in Abu Dhabi is part of a broader strategy to expand its reach in the UAE and will use the outlet as a service support centre for Areej's resellers in the capital.

"We are delighted to add a new showroom to our existing outlets across the UAE. Most of our showrooms demonstrate live solutions tailored to our customer needs. Our offices and showrooms across the UAE and GCC are also a hub for our distribution network. We have established a strong presence in the market and will continue to grow our reach and customer across Middle East," said Sameer Sadik, president and MD, Areej Group.

"Having a proof of concept (PoC) centre in the UAE and GCC for various industry segments such will help us to become a one stop destination for reseller partners and start up businesses," said Sadik N Sadik, CDM at Areej Group.

Areej said it is also expanding its reseller base and will be unveiling channel programmes for resellers and SIs in the region.
