Sultan says the success the company has enjoyed over the last seven years is because of the strong alliances it has formed with partners.

UAE telco du recently celebrated the success of its point of sales (PoS) network growth to more than 10,000 outlets, by honouring partners from the retail channel.

Du thanked its strategic partners for the exceptional cooperation and support offered since the company launched its operations in 2007.

The event saw representatives from 33 retail partners of du that included Axiom, Jumbo, Koohiji, Eros, Emax, Jacky’s, Plugin’s, Sharaf DG, Carrefour, Tecbuy, LuLu, E-City, Emirates Post, Dubai Duty Free, Eppco/Enoc, Emarat, Adnoc, Go Talk, Bilkish, Etran, Calltronics, Al Marie, Tech Orbit, 050 telecom and Hi phone attend.

Osman Sultan, CEO, du said: “We have formed strong partnerships with so many of the UAE’s most respected brands over the years, which has enabled us to be closer to our customers wherever they are in the UAE. Last year was a good one for our growth. In order for our company to progress into a sustainable future, we must build strong foundations in which our market share success is reflected in our value share. Our partners represent the backbone of our presence, and would like to extend our sincere thanks for their cooperation over the last seven years.”

The best performing sales partners were honoured and recipients were under the following categories:

·         Partner Account Manager: Awarded to the individual who contributed to the achievement of accumulative sales results from 2013, from different partners

·         Best du Salesman: Appreciation award for the best salesman, in terms of the highest du products sold by a sales agent per outlet across the Emirates

·         Master Dealer: Awarded to the dealer who played a significant role in ensuring adequate visibility of du’s products across Dubai and the northern Emirates

Sultan added that: “It is the successful bonds that we have created between our businesses that allow us to continue to provide a superior service to our customers, and we look forward to further strengthening our connections with our partners as we push forward on our quest to become the leading telecom provider in the UAE.”
