Danway deploys SAP ERP
ERP solution will automate business processes and increase transparency
Danway Electrical & Mechanical Engineering LLC has completed the roll out of SAP ERP in just 23 weeks.
The engineering company, a subsidiary of Al-Nowais Investments LLC, has gone live with the deployment of SAP which covers the entire business chain. Danway has operations in the UAE, Qatar and Oman, with a workforce of over 1,800 employees.
SAP partner CSC Computer Sciences (Middle East) provided implementation services for the project.
S.G Nair, managing director, Danway EME, said: "The SAP solution greatly enhances transparency on all levels of the business, automating our processes and providing seamless integration across the company. This enables Danway to embrace industry best practices and to focus even more on value generation for our customers, as well as allowing us to take more informed business decisions based on robust data from a single source of truth. The project has been very well executed and I would like to thank CSC as well as SAP for their outstanding efforts and contribution to this success."
Frank Forndron, Director of Quality Management, SAP MENA, added: "One of the key pillars for this achievement was a close and proactive collaboration between Danway, CSC and SAP Quality Management along the journey. Delivering software solutions that generate such tangible value does not just happen overnight. It takes careful planning, solid governance and strong execution measured against established criteria. At SAP, enabling customer success is a cornerstone of our strategy and we are committed to helping customers realise the full value of their investment."
Alok Bapna, managing director, Middle East and Africa, CSC, commented: "This implementation integrates Danway's business processes and provides a unified platform for smooth operations. CSC are very pleased to have delivered another successful SAP project in the Middle East."
