Promate Technologies, SmartCity tie up for Libya
Move aimed at developing the consumer electronics market in Libya
Peripherals and PC accessories vendor, Promate Technologies has announced its newly formed partnership with SmartCity Co, the Libya-based retail chain store for consumer electronics.
The deal will see the two companies build initiatives aimed at developing the consumer electronics market in Libya.
Hani Nakuaa, CEO at SmartCity Co, said: "We are rebuilding our country after the revolution and the SmartCity project comes in line with every citizen's dream access new technology offerings in the new Libya. We are the first power retail chain in Libya and are extremely proud to have partnered with Promate."
Nakuaa said Promate's product portfolio plays an essential role in meeting the lifestyle needs of most consumers in Libya. "My team and our customers are impressed with Promate's products array from quality, design and price range," he said.
Jihad Youssef, general manager at Promate Technologies Middle East and Africa (MEA), added that: "At Promate, we aim to work with local partners through such alliances. We believe that SmartCity is a real ‘retail king' in the Libyan market."
Youssef said the company is excited to have signed the agreement with SmartCity and will work hard to deliver the best level of service and quality products to Libyan consumers.
