Huawei unveils BYOD solution
Offering brings together latest tools in security, networking, collaboration, devices
As organisations aim to accommodate employees’ evolving mobile work habits, Huawei’s latest BYOD solution brings together latest tools in security, networking, collaboration, and devices under one roof.
Huawei yesterday unveiled AnyOffice BYOD, a signature BYOD solution for the Middle East region that empowers companies to improve office collaboration and increase efficiency by enabling employees to securely access corporate assets on their personal mobile devices.
By leveraging its expertise and full series of products in the security, networking, and collaboration fields, Huawei’s AnyOffice solution offers governments and enterprise customers a single platform through which to access a wide range of applications and handle important business tasks anytime, anywhere, and from any smart device. This “office of the future” was previewed at a session hosted by Huawei alongside representatives from IDC during GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK.
“While the wider movement towards BYOD policies and greater workplace mobility present clear benefits to the business world, it is also important to realise the new challenges this presents in terms of service provisioning, security, and ongoing management of devices,” says Dong Wu, President, Huawei Enterprise, Middle East.
“Enterprises are finding themselves at the cross-roads of merging business and technology needs while bringing network security, efficiency and a great user-experience to the BYOD challenge. AnyOffice supports the office of the future by providing a simple platform that can help companies cope with the complexities of mobilisation.”
The benefits of Huawei’s AnyOffice solution provide higher levels of security and ultimately greater levels of workforce productivity. AnyOffice has also improved performance across the entire network with a coverage area and multi-user throughput of 20% above industry standards.
