Smarteletec is present at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK for the first time, and is touting its services at the show. Speaking about recent developments, Hani Abu-Omar, VoIP Director at Smarteletec says: “We have developed a mobile application for Al Jazeera Sports which users can download on their smartphones. Once the application is installed the user can communicate with Al Jazeera customer support, via calling them or receiving SMS messages, free-of-charge. He can also interact with Al Jazeera over instant messaging and resolve any grievances immediately.

“The company was set up five years ago with its headquarters in Spain. The operations are based in Jordan and the sales team are in Qatar. This is the first time we  have come to GITEX, and are looking to entice clients from the government sector, airlines, banking and any sector that has a good amount of subscribers. Our applications are custom made and can be used by any of these entities.”
