Etisalat and SAP forge new partnership
Etisalat announced the partnership with SAP at its stand in Zabeel Hall.

Etisalat has joined hands with German business software global leader SAP to align and accelerate its support to the m-Government strategic goals and initiatives.

This collaboration is expected to reinforce each company’s leadership in their markets, and provide a stronger basis to grow in the mobile government industry.

The Etisalat-SAP partnership aims to create a management framework that will enable the smooth functioning of mobility apps and services across government when sharing information, and during service delivery and user registration.

The collaboration will provide holistic access to best practices, lines of reference, guidance, innovative ideas and solutions related to challenges associated with m-Government development. This initiative aims to create user-friendly apps for government departments, which will keep the workforce and customers connected. Its application development platform will help strengthen mobile strategy and facilitate app-customisation.

“Etisalat’s m-Government services will guarantee effectiveness and transparency between government agencies and businesses. Both Etisalat and SAP are working towards eliminating the risks that most new technologies bring to organizations,” says Abdulla Hashim, Senior Vice President of ICT, Etisalat UAE.

With these solutions, Etisalat can deliver innovative business apps with built-in developer tools. It will also reduce costs with a multi-purpose development platform to tap into connections and resources.

Businesses can easily include messaging services in their apps and simplify time-consuming tasks such as security control, data access, and synchronization. Customers will be able to deploy applications across multiple devices such as iOSx, Android, Windows and Blackberry to avoid working with multiple processes and interfaces.
