Waseela partners with Aruba Networks
Waseela Technologies is present at GITEX for the third year
Waseela Technologies is present at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK for the third year, and is touting its network optimisation services at the stand.
Dr. Samer M. Taha, CEO at Waseela says: “Waseela from its incorporation has been focusing on advanced wireless technologies. You can easily say that Waseela is the most involved systems integrator in the region.”
When 4G was introduced in the industry Taha says Waseela was one of the first in the region to offer its services. 4G started in WiMax, followed by LTE (Long Term Evolution) technology, and Waseela did the first engineering optimisation project in the region. The company also optimised the first LTE deployments in Saudi Arabia.
“We have a new partnership with Aruba Networks. There was a recent announcement about making Dubai a smart-city, well the latest generation WiFi will be a part of that. We are working with Aruba on probably one of the largest WiFi deployments in the region which is related to uploading traffic from 3G networks to WiFi,” says Taha.
We have seen a change in the type of customer we decided to start providing our services directly to MEP contractors and developers, because buildings are getting smarter and they are beginning to include advanced wireless, advanced telecoms, IPTV and other services in their buildings. We are seeing a need for systems integrators like us to get involved, and that is probably the major focus for this year,” concludes Taha.
