Dubai Chamber is going big with its new smartphone app.

Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry has launched a new smartphone application and services for the benefit of its members and the overall business community during the Chamber’s participation in the ongoing GITEX Technology Week in Dubai. The app, which is available for the iOS and Android platforms, provides users with a wide range of information about Dubai Chamber, its products and services, upcoming events, press releases and an archive of all Chamber TV videos.

Users can locate the branch nearest to them, can apply for jobs, register for Chamber events and receive notifications after adding them to their personal calendar. They can download the free app from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

The smartphone application is extremely flexible because it incurs no time and efforts to update it as all the information is being pulled from the existing web site CMS. H.E. Hamad Buamim, President and CEO, Dubai Chamber, states that the launch of these smartphone services reflects the Chamber’s commitment to provide the e-services to its stakeholders.

“We are well aware that the future belongs to smart applications and those who will not keep pace with the trend will be forced to face major challenges in the future,” he says. The President and CEO of Dubai Chamber adds that the pioneering initiative of Smart Government led by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum emphasises the importance of adopting technology in providing outstanding services for the ease of doing business to the customers, hence the new smartphone application services launched by the Chamber will help in offering quick and easy-to-use services to local and global stakeholders.
