Citrix puts BYOD front and centre
Virtualisation specialist returns to GITEX with mobility focus
Virtualisation specialist Citrix Systems Inc, is returning to GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK this year with a focus on mobility and the bring-your-own-device conundrum.
The company will also be demonstrating its Windows-as-a-Service offering and enhancing delegate awareness of its Unified Storefront, which allows businesses to build their own enterprise app and data store; and Enterprise Cloud Networks, which serves as a delivery medium for cloud-based resources.
"GITEX aims to provide an opportunity for everybody who is interested in technology to interact with one another and this year's event is no different," said Noman Abdul Qadir, director, Channel, Citrix MEA.
"Following our successful participation at the 2012 edition, Citrix is returning to the Middle East's flagship ICT event to showcase a complete suite of market leading solutions that are helping our customers embrace mobile workstyles to succeed in a dynamic and mobile world."
Citrix is currently in the process of expanding its channel base throughout the MEA region.
Earlier this year, the company announced a global restructure to its channel partner programme. As a result of this change, Citrix is launching two growth-oriented programmes: an enhanced Citrix Solution Advisor (CSA) scheme and a new Citrix SaaS Advisor (CSSA) initiative.
