Alcatel-Lucent’s New Personal Cloud Era
French comms vendor to promote emerging device-centric paradigm
Alcatel-Lucent will reinforce its growing presence in the infrastructure sector in the Middle East with a stronger presence at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK 2013. This year, as part of its New PC (Personal Cloud) Era focus, the company will be joined by several eco-system vendor partners to showcase vertical sector solutions.
The first of these partners is New Voice, a worldwide systems integrator and solution provider in the areas of emergency, security and business process communication, IT and automation. The company will be showcasing its new MobiCall AHL Gateway for hotels that aims to deliver a new level of quality of service. Through this gateway, any problem, guest request or emergency is anticipated and can be dealt with swiftly.
“As applications and services become accessible at all times through multiple devices, there is a growing need for enterprises to guide their organisations towards the New PC Era,” says Baher Ezzat, Regional Sales Director, Middle East, Alcatel-Lucent.
“GITEX is a great opportunity for us to share our knowledge and experiences from the past year and to discuss the most important trends and developments in enterprise technology. We hope that such an event will shed light on the numerous challenges and developments in the New PC Era.”
Alcatel-Lucent is a provider of networking and communications technology, products and services. The company is home to Bell Labs, one of the world’s most celebrated R&D organisations, with breakthroughs that have shaped communications.
