MoPA to showcase tablet apps
Al Humairi: MoPA seeks to identify and deploy the latest IT technologies.

MoPA, the UAE Ministry of Presidential Affairs, will participate in GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK 2013. By taking part in the exhibition, MoPA seeks to stay abreast of the latest developments in IT and best practices in the field.

Participation allows visitors to learn about the technological solutions used by MoPA and helps the ministry to build stronger relationships with the private sector and exchange knowledge and expertise.

H.E. Ahmed Mohamed Al Humairi, MoPA’s Secretary General, stressed the Ministry’s keenness in participating at GITEX, during which MoPA will showcase several of the e-services it provides.

“As part of MoPA’s constant efforts to provide a decent life for the UAE’s citizens, and to provide them with the best services, the Ministry constantly aims for institutional development,” says Al Humairi. “It follows up on the latest applications in the areas of technology so that they can be implemented within MoPA’s work environment to better serve the decision makers and promote government performance in general.”

In its 247 square metre pavilion, the latest technologies developed by MoPA will be introduced, along with the most up-to-date apps optimised for use on tablet computers by MoPA’s own information technology section.

Such applications allow the senior management of MoPA to access specialised requests and correspondence, and approve them for easy access by end users.
