Aruba to focus on gigabit Wi-Fi solution at GITEX
Wi-Fi solutions firm in pursuit of wireless office
Wi-Fi solutions provider Aruba Networks says it will focus on its flagship 802.11ac offering at this year's GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK.
"GITEX is by far the number-one ICT event in the region," Aruba says. "It gives us an opportunity to actively network with C-level executives from a variety of industries, showcase our technology solutions to ICT professionals and also capitalise on top trends like BYOD, cloud, SDN and gigabit-Wi-Fi."
The Wi-Fi solution is said to be "the first in the industry to deliver gigabit Wi-Fi combined with the device density and application intelligence required by today's Wi-Fi networks". The company is on a mission to promote its Wireless Office vision and its Mobile Virtual Enterprise (MOVE) architecture, which unifies wired and wireless network infrastructures into a single corporate access solution.
"We will introduce new solutions focused on the small- to medium-sized business that simplify the delivery and operations of wireless networks, without compromising on performance," Aruba says.
The company believes the seamless architecture forms ideal support for the secure management of the bring-your-own-device (BYOD) trend.
In Aruba deployments, adaptive 802.11n/ac Wi-Fi networks optimise themselves to ensure optimal connectivity for users, while identity-based security assigns access policies, enforcing those policies whenever and wherever a network is accessed. Remote networking solutions and fixed-mobile convergence are designed to provide uninterrupted access to applications as users move, and multi-vendor network management delivers a single point of control while managing both legacy and new wireless networks from Aruba and its competitors.
Aruba has seen a number of high-profile regional contract wins in recent years, including Abu Dhabi Airports, Kempinski Mall of Emirates, Dusit Thani Hotel and DWTC.
"GITEX is always an important event for Aruba," the company says. "Our main objectives are to reach out to new potential clients, but also to educate our existing customers on our latest technologies. Additionally, we also aim to grow in key verticals such as education, hospitality, healthcare, government, retail, oil and gas."
