Content management specialist to demo ECM solutions
Laserfiche will present its portfolio of enterprise content management (ECM) solutions at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK.
Laserfiche has developed its entire product line in-house, with the overarching goal of creating software that’s both useful and usable. The company strives to make its solutions easy to use, fully featured and competitively priced.
The company’s key ECM product line is Laserfiche Rio, which was developed specifically to meet the needs of organisations that view ECM technology as a foundational component of their technical infrastructure. For SMEs, the company provides Laserfiche Avante, which is designed for sites with fewer than 100 users.
To help reduce the need for expensive programmers or consultants, the company tries to organise regular user groups, training sessions, webinars and community forums. Two blogs, The ECM Blog and Simplicity 2.0, are run with the goal of educating and engaging the user community. Empower is the company’s annual conference, which is dedicated to the success of its community of users, resellers, consultants, integrators, analysts and staff.
Another community initiative is the Laserfiche Solution Exchange, where customers publish step-by-step instructions (including code and screenshots) outlining how they have used Laserfiche to solve specific problems. More than 140 user-generated solutions are described —and freely available — on the Laserfiche Solution Exchange.
This year, the company is focused on the release of Laserfiche 9, which unites enterprise content management (ECM) and business process management (BPM) functionality across the Laserfiche product line.
