Fortinet unveils new partner programme
Fortinet says the programme is ideal for small partners and large telecoms providers.

IT security vendor Fortinet has launched a new partner programme that gives Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) in EMEA and APAC preferred pricing, dedicated technical support, training and specific marketing initiatives.

According to Fortinet, the MSSP programmes has been designed to facilitate the growth of new and existing partners through infrastructure enablement, go-to-market and specialised expert-consultative support.

Fortinet said the two-tiered programme has been designed to suit the business models and operational capacities of partners ranging from smaller security integration companies to pure-play MSSPs and large telecommunications providers.

"Our solutions are highly scalable, allowing providers to start small and grow their business as their customer base grows," said Emilio Roman, vice president of international sales operations at Fortinet. "Fortinet's solutions have been built specifically to address the requirements of managed security service provider demands and their customers, giving MSSPs everything they needs to realise greater business efficiencies and higher profit margins."

According to Fortinet MSSP initiatives focuses on four core business components namely infrastructure enablement, business development, marketing and sales support, and MSSP specialised support.
