Polycom Inc, a provider of unified communications and collaboration (UC&C) solutions has announced that regional VAD FVC, has been certified for the new Authorised Training Partner (ATP) programme.

The ATP programme is an enhanced offering to the retired partner curriculum that FVC previously had and empowers select Polycom distribution partners to offer classes and training to certify resellers.

FVC said the ATP programme is a key initiative for the company as it focuses on the creation and implementation of custom, value-added support schemes and services for reseller partners.

The company said as an ATP partner, FVC can provide easy access to training and greater flexibility on scheduling and locations for resellers. FVC said the certifications offered through the programme are important for resellers looking to implement and support Polycom solutions.

"We are very excited to continue to serve as a Polycom Authorised Training Partner in the region. The programme reinforces our commitment to Polycom, and also allows us to provide our resellers with the training and support required for them to deliver more comprehensive Polycom solutions to their end-user customers," said Dharmendra Parmar, GM, Marketing, FVC. "This level of support allows resellers to strengthen their relationships and enhance their service offering."

"We are pleased that FVC has renewed its certification within the new Authorised Training Partner programme," said Daniel Schmierer, Area Sales vice president, Middle East, Africa and Turkey, at Polycom. "We have designed the ATP programme to deliver the training needed to achieve the sales and service objectives and give our partners effective tools to grow their video collaboration business."
