Lenovo launches six new smartphones in UAE
Models range from the top-end K900 to the entry level A390
Lenovo has launched six of its latest smartphone models in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. Consumers in UAE and Saudi Arabia can now purchase the high-end K900, the P780, S920, S820 and the affordable, entry level A706 and A390 smartphone.
The K900 is designed for tech-savvy power users; Lenovo P780 for the professional who demands long-lasting battery, USB on-the-go and business applications; the stylish S920 and S820 for heavy multimedia users; and the affordable yet fully loaded A706 and A390.

The K900 is 6.9mm slim, one of the thinnest smartphones in its class, and weighs 162g. Made from a composite of stainless steel alloy and polycarbonate in a Unibody mold, the K900 also features a 5.5" IPS display with 1080p full high-definition resolution performance at 400+ pixels-per-inch, plus touch-capacitive scratch-proof Gorilla Glass 2.
Lenovo K900 runs on the Intel Atom Z2580 processor, a dual core chip, which runs up to 2.0 GHz and utilizes Intel Hyper-Threading technology to boost performance efficiency. The Intel-powered device also features an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator engine running a PowerVR SGX 544MP2 GPU.The top-end phone also features a 13MP camera, and a large aperture f1.8 lens. The Lenovo K900 smartphone is available in UAE and KSA end of July for AED1,999.
The P780 smartphone is designed for business and professional users, and boasts a 4000mAH battery, one of the largest available, coupled with Lenovo Smart Energy software and fake battery detection, helping the device deliver up to 25 days of active standby time. It also features dual SIM slots, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and business software such as a business card reader and office productivity applications. The Lenovo P780 smartphone is available in UAE and KSA in August for AED1,399.
The S920, designed for the socially active user features a 5.3" (1280 x 720) IPS display, with a 16M-color screen. The S920's rear-mounted ‘super camera' shoots at 8MP for and allows for up to 100 consecutive shots in burst mode. The S290 features a 1.2GHz, quad-core processor, weighs 159g and has a depth of 7.9mm. The Lenovo S920 smartphone is available in UAE and KSA first week of July, priced at AED1,299.
The S820 features curved, ‘2.5D' Corning glass across the front, designed to soften reflections to protect users' eyes, and maximise display area. The back is covered with a soft-touch, no-slip material, and features a 12MP rear camera. The screen is 4.7" 1280x720 HD IPS and the S820 runs on a quad-core processor and supports dual SIM cards. The Lenovo S820 smartphone is available in UAE and KSA first week of July priced at AED999.
The A706 features a 1.0GHz, quad-core processor and 1GB RAM, Dolby Digital Plus technology and a 4.5" IPS display. Dual SIM slots and a 5MP camera round out the key features of the A706, which runs on the Android v4.1 JellyBean OS. The Lenovo A706 smartphone is available in UAE and KSA first week of July and is priced at Dh699.
The entry-level A390 is intended for first-time smartphone buyers, based on a 1.0GHz, dual-core processor, the A390 offers 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage expandable up to 32GB. With a 5.0MP camera for capturing and sharing photos of friends, the A390 is the perfect solution for customers needing a solid performer that doesn't break the budget. The Lenovo A390 smartphone is available in UAE and KSA first week of July at AED499.
