Brother International Gulf FZE, a manufacturer of laser and Inkjet printing devices, has announced the signing of Hoshan Company Limited (HCL), a KSA-based IT solutions provider, as its distribution partner.

Under the terms of the agreement, HCL will distribute Brother's entire range of printing solutions including colour and monochrome laser multi-function centres (MFCs), printers, inkjet MFCs and scanners through its 22 sales offices and showrooms across the KSA.

According to Brother, the deal is part of the company's move to create a stronger market presence in the KSA, while at the same time reinforce its market position in the Middle East region's printing segment.

"Over the last few months, the KSA has seen a demand for more high quality printing products that can meet the requirements presented by the country's corporate sector, SMEs and SoHo segments. These segments have detailed their need for printing solutions that increase productivity, improved efficiency and savings on operational costs," said Ghassan Odeh, CEO, HCL. "Our newly formed partnership with Brother International will allow us to address this demand."

"This new distribution partnership with HCL is timely and strategic as industry reports have positioned Saudi Arabia as one of the major drivers of growth for the region's rapidly growing printing industry. We are confident that working closely with our distributors in the KSA, which now includes HCL, will play a big role in our move to gain more market shares and consolidate our industry leadership for the KSA and the Middle East in general," said Soichi Murakami, managing director, Brother International Gulf FZE.
