Meera Kaul, managing director of Optimus says that the company is looking to invest in technologies that can help their regional market needs and cover the technology gap efficiently and effectively.

Value added distributor Optimus Technology and Telecommunications, has launched its new subsidiary, Optimus Ventures.

The new subsidiary will focus on funding and enabling companies that specialise in technology innovation and help them to establish their Middle East and Africa presence through promotion of their technologies in the region.

"We are happy to launch Optimus Ventures, our latest initiative to encourage start-ups, which bring innovation in technology to build new products and business models. Depending on the business needs of the company, Optimus Ventures will fund the business and help the company to bring their technologies to the Middle East and Africa market. We are looking to invest in technologies that can help our regional market needs and cover the technology gap efficiently and effectively," says Meera Kaul, managing director of Optimus Technology & Telecommunications.

Optimus Ventures is the latest initiative by the company to encourage new ideas, technologies and business start-ups and help them promote their business in the Middle East market.
