Comguard, HP team up for KSA partner training
Sessions cover HP Enterprise Security solutions
Dubai-based security VAD Comguard today announced that it recently joined with HP to conduct a training workshop for channel partners in Saudi Arabia.
The aim of the sessions was to "educate, train and even certify channel partners at no extra cost on HP Enterprise Security solutions", Comguard said.
The workshop, held on 15 May at Mariott Hotel in Riyadh, was attended by over 40 channel partners from all across the kingdom.
HP Enterprise Security Products is a security-focused unit that brings together HP offerings ArcSight, Fortify and TippingPoint and combines them with security research capabilities into a unified platform, which HP calls the Security Intelligence & Risk Management Platform.
During the workshop, specialists from both Comguard and HP discussed the latest developments, updates and offerings and offered technical training on HP Enterprise Security products and solutions tailored for partners in Saudi Arabia.
HP also updated channel partners about its new version of Business Service Management (BSM) software, HP Operational Analytics. The new BSM software uses big data analytics to enhance the performance and availability of business software across mobile and hybrid IT environments.
Jayadevan K, senior vice president, Value Business, Comguard, said, "This workshop on HP Enterprise Security solutions will go a long way in enabling channel partners in Saudi to upgrade their knowledge base and skills sets. The workshop helped partners discover how they can recognise opportunities to drive more revenue for their business. We also updated partners how they can avail resources and training which are available to them as part of the HP PartnerOne Programme."
Comguard and HP plan to jointly conduct a similar workshop on Enterprise Security solutions in June in Doha, Qatar.
