Samsung Electronics has announced the opening of its first Samsung Brand Showroom in Sharjah, a move the consumer electronics giant says will further extend brand presence and recognition in the UAE.

The initiative is being done in partnership with Harman House and will offer Sharjah residents the opportunity to interact with and experience the latest cutting edge technologies and products from the company. In addition, Samsung says consumers will have the opportunity to experience and interact with the products at the new store, as well as enjoy a personalised service from trained sales consultants.

"We are committed to expanding our brand recognition in the UAE and growing our retail presence is key. The Samsung Brand Showroom is the first in the Emirate and will offer an interactive and unique shopping experience for all technology and Samsung enthusiasts in Sharjah that is conveniently located at their doorstep," said Young Soo Kim, president of Samsung Gulf Electronics. "Customers will get the opportunity to touch, feel and interact with our products at this new showroom and benefit from a personal, one to one service experience."

With almost 300 square meters of retail space, the new Sahara Centre showroom will showcase the latest Samsung products including the recently launched GALAXY S4 smartphone, its range of tablets, smart TVs, home theatres and Blu-Ray players, and the latest notebook offerings.

Samsung says the new store will also feature a dedicated Smart TV experience zone where the recently launched F7500 and F8000 LED TVs will be on display.
